Dan Ferris Interviewed in Science

Ferris_DanDr. Dan Ferris, Professor of Movement Science and Biomedical Engineering, was recently interviewed in Science regarding the efforts to develop exoskeletons that enhance the strength and stamina of soldiers in the U.S. Military. While there is much desire to develop an exoskeleton that can augment a person’s capabilities while wearing it, the progress in developing it has been slow. “I think we’re in the stage where the Wright brothers can get the plane up for a bit, but it doesn’t stay up for long,” says Ferris.
